A Walk Down Angel Lane!

My angels make life just so much fun! Even when they are being "little devils," how can you not look at each little cherub face and not fall in love and smile from ear to ear!

Today, Christopher was running around the kitchen in circles opening cabinets and chucking things out on the floor as I followed and put things back and corrected him. He would just get this little grin on his face, his eyebrow would go up and man, he melts the heart!

Andrew was no different. I try to say he is not but Tom reminds me of all the messes and situations Andrew would get into - that I have conveniently forgotten, I might add...After all every cabinet was locked and everything breakable was up high! When caught, Andrew would jump up on your lap, kiss you and snuggle right into your lap! All would be forgiven!

And then there's little delicate Grace. She was not one to reak havoc, but she always got her way...and still does! She is sweet and cute and all happy - singing and dancing - and you are lulled into thinking all is ok. Then she pulls out the boldness. She can do something wrong and when you tell her no or try to correct her, she will just look you in the eye, stare you down, and without a flinch, do it anyway! Such Skill!

They are all good at heart and are quite normal behavior-wise. They can be equally loving and wonderful. Andrew with his ability to make you feel like the most wonderful person in the world. Christopher with his air kisses - a noise he just figured out - and a smile that warms your heart. Grace with her bubbly, happy personality. What would we do with out them!

Andrew Turns Five!

It has happened! Andrew has turned five! I remember when he arrived from Korea like it was yesterday. He was only 8 and 1/2 months old and he had all that hair! He took our hearts by storm! The time has flown since then! He has grown so big and so handsome! So how did we celebrate the big day? We had a mini-party on his birthday with some friends at a play date and then took him out for "rice and beans" which means dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant Los Cabos. They did it up big there with balloons and a Mariachi band singing to him. The sombrero was hysterical, but I do not think Andrew knew what to think of it all! The fried dough and honey dessert were a big hit!

Yesterday we had his official birthday party with his firends. It was an astronaut training party. All the kids dressed in astronaut suits, and were put through a series of "official NASA" tests - which had them giggling and laughing. They had fun and were sooo cute! He loved all his gifts and could not wait to dive into them! It is a blessing to have so many great friends here to help us celebrate since our family is so far away.
