Andrew has been thrilled by the snow in Tulsa. He could spend hours out there if I let him. Grace is finally able to play in the snow as well. Poor little Christopher has to watch from the window. While we were in Chicago for Christmas it snowed at least 9 inches. Since it has been cold, too, it stuck around long enough for the kids to play in it when we returned. The pictures are from Tom's golf course. They really had a blast there!

This past week we started the period of unpacking all that we received. The kids were, once again, spoiled and could not decide what to play with first. Oh the decisions that a child has to make! LOL I think I will hoard the gifts and pull them out a little at a time since it has been too cold to go outside to do anything. It has been an unusually cold winter here. So far it has been on average 12 degrees lower than the norm - although this past week has been in the single digits. They say we have not had this cold of a winter since 2005. We stay vigilant on having running water on in the sinks, tubs, etc. since our pipes are not buried as deep as in colder areas and we do not want them to freeze. I just hope it kills all the spiders, etc. that just love to hang out in the warmer weather. LOL Having to stay indoors has given us time to do some work around the house. Everyone wants in on the action it seems. It is always fun to help Daggy with the tools!
