We're Back!!!!

So here we are several years from the last time I posted to my blog.  I am sorry to my followers (all three of them - lol) but life just gets away from you! I was going to send out a Christmas letter (that didn't happen last year either) but I thought this can be done faster and my cards, which have been made and are ready to go before Thanksgiving, will get out early for the first time in my life!

Well, the kids certainly did not stop growing.  Andrew is 7, Grace is 5 and Christopher is 4.  Tom and I have, of course, stopped aging and are still 29.  LOL  Tom is still with Billy Casper Golf Management and the City of Tulsa golf courses.  Despite the hot summers and the drought, the past winter was relatively mild which means things at the courses are good making us both happy. I spend my time running the kids to school or to activities, and getting things done around the house. Despite the busy life, I do find some time to hang out with my Oklahoma gals.

Andrew is in second grade at All Saints Catholic School.  He will make his First Holy Communion this May and is excited.  He is on the basketball team for a second year and his skills are quickly improving.  He is still an imaginative and dramatic boy.  I am sure this will play a roll in his future schooling career before too long - perhaps a play or two...we'll see.  He is mad about Star Wars, Superheroes and Ninjago.  He is boy, boy, boy!

Grace started preschool at All Saints and LOVES IT!  School could not be more fun for her!  She came home the first week of school, sat at the dining room table and said "I have homework to do!"  I was skeptical that she had homework, but the nurse had given them an assignment and Grace was not messing around!  (Girls are awesome!)  In October, Grace tied for first place running the most laps in the school's jogathon.  I think we might have a runner in the family!   She is the queen of costumes from fairies to princesses to superheroes (yes girls can be Ironman!)  Her latest favorite "alter-ego" is being a snowy owl!  She is a HOOT!  Grace also loves her bike and scooter. Unfortunately, she is my daredevil, trying to pop wheelies on both.  LOL

Christopher is quickly moving from baby into a little man.  He is growing up too fast! Always my snuggle-bunny, he is loving being home alone with mommy, and I have to admit that I am loving our time alone as well.  He is smart, kissable and funny!  I was surprised to find he know all his letters, and can read some words already...without my teaching him!  Leapster products are wonderful!  When he is not teaching himself, lol, Christopher enjoys playing with legos and his Cars cars.  He has recently shown an interest in coloring, painting and art.  Maybe our trips to the Art museum are paying off.  One of his daily rituals is to watch Toy Story 2 and never grows tired of it.

In June we went with some friends, the Haverty's, to Disney World.  The kids made many unforgettable memories meeting Buzz and Woody, fighting Darth Vader, meeting fairies and princesses, and riding all the rides.  The two families are still talking about this trip and all the fun we had.  Andrew, Grace and Christopher ask regularly to go back (Christopher will ask if we can go after dropping the other two at school - LOL) If only we could make it a weekly trip!

We wish you are Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
May peace and joy follow you through your year.
With Love,
