So another Christmas Day come and gone. I did a little better job of being prepared early so that we could enjoy the time, but it is so easy to get caught up in the preparations. In any event, it was a wonderful Christmas. The kids were so excited and enjoyed being with family, playing in the snow, opening presents. They just love being with their cousins! I think if I could have wrapped that up in a box, they would have thought it was the best present ever!
Since my father was not present, I thought we would need a little silliness to get us through. Therefore it became a Snuggie Christmas Eve. Everyone, including my sister's dog got a personalized Snuggie (I added a pocket to the front of each one with a decal of something liked by the person). Although it may not go down in the record books as the best present received from me, it will certainly be up there as one of the most memorable. It was silly and fun.
Christmas morning brought more presents from us and from Santa. I love these moments and wish I could remember them moment by moment forever since the pictures and video do not do them justice. I think everyone was thrilled with every present and the apples in their stockings from Santa were awesome!
